The Agency launched an Investment Map for Africa, identifying promising sectors and investment drivers in each country. The map provides detailed analysis of economic and demographic indicators, legal frameworks, responsible investment authorities, and membership in regional economic blocs, while also showcasing existing Egyptian investments across the continent.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Agency introduced virtual training programs, enabling wide participation from trainees across different countries. Several of these online programs continue today, complementing traditional in-person training courses.

The “Initiative” was launched with the objective of expanding development projects across the Nile Basin countries.

The Egyptian Fund for Technical Cooperation with Africa was merged with the Egyptian Fund for Technical Cooperation with the Commonwealth, Islamic Countries, and Newly Independent States, establishing the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development (EAPD). This merger broadened the Agency’s geographical scope of action.
